Checking In 6

Hi guys,

I hope everybody is doing well.

I'm still in my funk, hence why I did not post last week. Sorry about that. Things aren't changing much around here other than the government in Utah is ramping up COVID-19 regulations again. The daily new case numbers have been too high for comfort. I've gotten word from work that they will not be forcing us back to the office until the state's color-coded threat indicator is back into the green. Even after searching the website for information about what determines the color codes, I haven't been able to come up with any guidelines. Oh well.

Hopefully this week I will have a new article for you...hang tight. I'm not guaranteeing anything, but I've taken some notes on what I want to write, so fingers crossed I will get it done by Friday.

For new news...I am in the process of planning a vacation. I was supposed to be going to a writing convention later in the month, but it has been postponed. So, rather than cancel my vacation, I decided to roll with the punches. I think I'm going to go to Colorado and do some hiking (you all know how I love my hiking), check out some breweries, enjoy the drive, and maybe bang out some more work on my novel or some of the short stories I'm working on.

I'm researching some publishers and online magazines for possible query at the moment. We'll see how it goes.
